Ed Barnett

Ed is the founder and president of The Barnett Group, which was acquired by HUB International in 2018. Ed is responsible for leading The HUB International Group and its employees, overseeing strategic planning for the company, maximizing its growth, and leading it into the next generation.

Ed remains active in Bluff City Advisory Group LLC as an emeritus advisor.

Ed is actively involved in the Memphis community having served many years on the board of Make-A-Wish and the Methodist Healthcare Foundation. A member of the American Association of Life Underwriters, he maintains a commitment to continuing his education and knowledge in the industry. Ed is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Roundtable and has received the prestigious award of Top of the Table from the organization. Additionally, he has received the Order of Excalibur award from Equitable Advisors, the organization’s highest award, and is recognized in the Equitable Advisors Hall of Fame.

Ed spends most of his extra time on the golf course and with his family. When not with Nancy, his wife, you will find him surrounded by his children, Nicole, Wesley and Walter, and his grandchildren, Parker, Caroline, Charlie, Gracely and Wesley Kate.
